AID Gurgaon Structure
Aid-Gurgaon chapter has a flat structure where all the volunteers actively take up the roles, after internal consultations and as per their interests. Majority of the volunteers in the chapter are young professionals working in different domains and bring with them enormous talent and management experience ..and above all... the passion for being the change they want to see around them.

This structure is just to help you, to give a fair understanding of the AID Gurgaon chapter and the relevant contact points.
Chapter coordinator: Is responsible for the overall coordination of the chapter affairs, initiatives and external communications.
Chapter coordinator will
· Ensure he/she participates in all the activities of the projects running under this chapter
· Encourage new initiatives in the chapter which are consistent with the philosophy of sangharsh, seva and nirman
· Be responsible for buliding teams so that projects become self sustainable
· Be responsible to raise the funds for the ongoing as well as the future projects

Volunteer coordinator: Is responsible for responding to the volunteer requests and orientation of all the new volunteers. Volunteer coordinator will
· Conduct volunteer visits to the projects
· Suggest the new volunteers the possible areas of volunteering matching their interests, skills and availability
· Continuously follow up all the new as well as old volunteers for all the events and initiatives

Finance coordinator: Is responsible for keeping accountability of all the donations, incoming and outgoing funds, necessary budgetary allocation of the projects as agreed by the group. Finance Coordinator will
· Disburse and record weekly expenses (Teachers/Volunteers), monthly salaries (at centres) and fees (at RSEP schools)
· Maintain records for all donations and fund transfers with AID HQ
· Keep close track of the future requirements of funds and payments to be done wherever required
· Be responsible for the release of the quarterly treasury report highlighting the utilisation of funds, to ensure the openness and transparency in our operations.

Community Connect Coordinators (c3): Community connect being the core area on which AID-Gurgaon's model in educational intervention depends, It will be responsibility of all the volunteers to participate in this activity. However to continuously monitor and arrange the community visits and ensue the uniformity of the visits made in the communities, c3's will plan and allocate the areas of visits.

Web Coordinator and Publications: will be responsible for collecting regular updates for all the projects and would be updating the website and other social networking sites (sns) on the continuous basis. Publications team will be responsible for the release of the bi-monthly newsletter. Internship Coordinator: Will be responsible to handle all the internship requests coming to the chapter from various sources. Will closely work with the interns. Major thrust will be to take the help of interns for making the educational interventions more effective, develop the social entrepreneurship idea in AID Gurgaon chapter. Interns would be required to interact closely with the communities and work on to provide innovative solutions to their problems. Interns may look at the villages in periphery of the city. So internship coordinator will be responsible to discuss this with the interns and induct them into the projects as he/she feels appropriate after consultation with the core group.
